Lalu Yadav Health Update: Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently admitted to AIIMS. He has been placed in the Cardio Critical Care Unit of the Cardio-Neuro Center. According to sources, his blood pressure has been fluctuating. He is undergoing treatment at the hospital, but problems related to blood pressure and sugar levels have increased.
Lalu Prasad Yadav is Out of Danger
However, his condition is improving rapidly and he is currently out of danger. He is eating and drinking normally. On April 11, doctors will decide the next steps for his treatment. For now, he remains hospitalized and is expected to stay for a few more days. On April 4, senior doctors at AIIMS Delhi performed surgery on wounds on his back and arm.
Due to high blood sugar, the wounds were not healing properly and remained infected. After the operation, his condition improved, and he was shifted from the ICU to a regular ward. However, his blood pressure continues to fluctuate, and he remains under close observation by AIIMS doctors.
Earlier, his son Tejashwi Yadav had shared an update on his father's health, stating that he is recovering well and is strong from within. He is expected to recover fully soon.
Shifted to Delhi on Doctors’ Advice
It is worth noting that on April 2, following doctors' advice in Patna, Lalu Yadav was taken to Delhi where he was admitted to AIIMS and is currently undergoing treatment. Earlier, in 2022, he underwent a kidney transplant in Singapore. In September 2024, he had an angioplasty in Mumbai, during which a stent was placed. Before that, in 2014, he underwent open-heart surgery. Currently, he is facing health issues due to high blood sugar levels.
